ABOUT RUBENFELD SYNERGY The Rubenfeld Synergy Method is an approach to personal development and healing physical, emotional, and spiritual. It is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that combines touch, talk and movement. The method respects the uniqueness of each individual and puts clients in charge of finding their own wisdom and healing. During Rubenfeld Synergy sessions the client wears loose clothing, for comfort whether lying on a cushioned table, sitting in a chair, or moving about. As illustrated in the stories in Healing Journeys, while the focus of sessions is on the present, resolving unfinished business with the past is very much part of the healing process. Ilana Rubenfeld created the Rubenfeld Synergy Method in the 1960s. A brief history of how she came to do so is included in Healing Journeys.
